This course focuses on the knowledge and skill base that real estate professionals need to specialize in buying, selling, or managing second homes in a resort, recreational, and/or vacation destination and properties for investment, development, or retirement.

After this course, you will be able to:

• Help clients evaluate and select the type of property, form of ownership, and financing options.
• Identify strategies for building a rental property business or assessing the investment value of property.
• Understanding the IRS guidelines for tax treatment of second-home vacation and investment properties.
• Use market statistics and trends to develop a business plan.
