Go deeper and go beyond the curriculum of the BOR's Flood CE class.
Do you ever sell property that's in the floodplain? How do you know if it's in the floodplain? Worry about your client's cost for flood insurance? Wonder where you can find more information on past flooding for a specific property? How can a property owner request a change in the map from FEMA?  These questions and more will be answered through this class. Learn how to find an address or print a section of the map, what flood zones mean with regard to insurance and construction.

During this class, receive two CE credits while learning about flood zones in regards to lending, insurance, impacts on cost, and savings. This class will be taught by state-approved instructor Tim Van Der Veen; Joe "Flood" Rossi, Executive Director, Massachusetts Coastal Coalition; and Joy Duperault, State NFIP Coordinator & Deputy Hazard Mitigation Officer, Department of Conservation & Recreation, Flood Hazard Management Program.

This is a LIVE webinar hosted on Zoom. To register, submit your registration through the NSR website as you would for an in-person class. You will receive a link to complete your registration through Zoom and handouts one day before the class. You must be present the entire time from 9am to 11am to receive CE credit.
